The Vision Racing team was recently created only three years ago in 2005 as a result of the purchase of Kelley Racing.
The very first racing season in 2005 was not very promising as the team did not achieve the expected results despite the hiring of expert drivers who helped to get additional points for the championship standings.
For the following season the vehicles’ engineering was upgraded and the team managed better positions and much outstanding performances.
More recently in 2007 the team enlarged its possibilities with the addition of a third vehicle but that was only for a short time as for the present season they decided to keep only two.
Nevertheless; Vision Racing has impressed this season with remarkable speed records and they have announced the hiring of a third driver - Davey Hamliton – for the remaining of the season.
The team is currently sponsored by Menards, Direct TV, and CardioCheck.
